When we launched our GoFundMe campaign, the Friends of Slumber Falls made a promise to be transparent with our donors in how we spent those funds. To date, we have collected just over $13,000 and those funds have been spent as follows, with the balance being held for future expenditures related to the purchase of Slumber Falls Camp.

WE STILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT

The Friends of Slumber Falls offer to purchase Slumber Falls Camp was made possible through a generous donor who is contributing the nearly $3.2 million for the offer. Part of our agreement with the donor is to secure $100,000 in operating funds. These operating funds help ensure the future success of Friends of Slumber Falls should our offer be accepted, allowing our group to immediately get to work to guide Slumber Falls Camp into its next chapter.

We are under a tight deadline to collect the $100,000 as we must have a commitment for these operating funds before the purchase of Slumber Falls is finalized. Friends of Slumber Falls is asking those of you who love the camp as much as we do to make a commitment to continue to support this incredible sanctuary of outdoor ministry. The commitment form is simply that - a commitment to provide financial support to Slumber Falls Camp and the Friends of Slumber Falls should we be successful in purchasing the camp. While we are hopeful we will be successful, if we do not secure the camp, there is no financial obligation. And while we appreciate gifts of all sizes, due to the urgency, we are specifically looking for donors who can commit to a donation of $5,000 or more.
